Hello I’m Soogbad and welcome to the C# learning series This series will have three seasons:
On the first season we will learn the basics of C# in a Console Application.
On the second season we’ll implement the skills we learned in Windows Forms where we’ll create desktop applications On the third season we’ll use Unity to make games In this episode I will talk about programming languages and environments If you already have programming expirience you can skip to the next episode On the next episode I will guide you on how to install Visual Studio But if you do have it you still need to watch the next episode because you might be missing some packages that are required to program with C# Ok so there are programming languages and environments Environments are programs where you write code There are lots of environments and they have different languages they support and have different types. An environment could simply be a text editor like notepad (yes you can program with notepad) or a more advanced text editor like notepad plus plus But the difference between other types of
environments comes when you can compile the code. Compiling the code simply means running it Making the text that you wrote an actual program. When you can compile the code the environment is usually called an IDE. But what is a programming language? Well a programming language is the language you use to tell the computer what to do in your program. Like normal languages in different languages you can have different ways of saying the
one of the biggest companies in the world) So you can know C# and Visual Studio are done well This is it for this episode be sure to watch
the next one which will appear on screen right now
and subscribe so you can watch the whole series!
